When a specialist carpentry firm was commissioned to create a bespoke reception desk for The Mall, London, they faced a unique challenge — the desk’s off-centre, asymmetric angles made it almost impossible to finish with traditional wood materials.

Working closely with their team, we wrapped the entire desk and surrounding structures in premium architectural vinyl — delivering a seamless, high-end finish that elevated the design. Built initially from white furniture board, the vinyl application provided complete design flexibility while preserving the desk’s sharp lines and unique geometry.

The Challenge
